Pimple Like Bump vs STD

I spent the past couple of days at home ill with a fever of about 103 degrees.  Due to total lack of weakness I was unable to shower or move out of bed for most of the time.  The first day that I felt better and had strength I was in the shower and noticed a large pimple like bump on the shaft of my penis.  It appeared to have a rather large white head to it and I tried to pop it with no success.  I have had a pimple in this area before but not quite as large.  Now 2 days later i have tried to pop it again but have seemed to make it worse.  It really reminds me of one of those difficult pimples on your face that takes about 5 days before they are ready to pop even though they look ready to pop on day one.  I am a little nervous now that it could be something else.  Does anyone have any advice?  It is just the one bump on the shaft.  Any advice would be great.  Could it be a pimple for all the sweat and funk from when I was sick?

I can't say if it is or isn't.  You need to go to the doctor regardless.  A fever of 103 needs medical attention, regardless of what you think the cause is.

Google staph and you'll get a ton of info.

You could, or you could have a staph infection that has caused this and the rest of your symptoms.

I'd get it checked out.
