My partner has gonorrhea rectally and orally and i have chlamydia. How can this be?

I don't know how we can have two different Std's, if I only had sex with him and only him. Can one be mistaken for the other?

Well, if you didn't step out, then you either had chlamydia and it has been there since before you met your partner or your partner gave it to you.  They don't have it?  Anyway, most people with chlamydia don't have any symptoms.  And you clear it with antibiotics. And since you and your partner are sexually active, I'd ask for your partner to be treated for it too just in case (so you are not passing back and forth).  And guess what?  I'd say the same thing to him if he wrote about this too.  He either had it prior to the relationship and didn't know as gono is often symptomless as well or you cheated on him.  So, I guess a serious conversation in which you both are fully honest needs to happen.  And if not, strange it is.  Use condoms until you are both fully treated and take the full course of medicine.  good luck
