Protected Sex with prostitue 15mths ago could I have passed o STD?

Had protected sex with prostitue back in June 2017 while drunk on stag do. Not proud and just getting over guilt. I am married with 2 young children. Wife and I had been having normal sex life using condoms as contraception until June this year and have now stopped using condoms as she is on the pill. So we have been having unprotected sex for last 3 months and wife has started to complain of pain while peeing and occasionally has been waking up with stomach pains. I am parinoid I have given my wife and STD from mistake over a year ago. I have had no symptoms of any std I all this time or currently. I have recently been diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis and started medication for this 1 month ago. am I just being super parinoid people is there a chance I have infected my wife with STD???

If your sexual encounter with that prostitute was protected there is nothing to worry about. There would be risk of syphilis and herpes if your skin had got in touch with active sores.

Regarding the painful sensation of your wife, it could be just because of having sex without condom, as skin is not as soft as latex. The physical action of having sex without protection can lead to these kind of sensations. Maybe you can try some kind of lube.

If you concern, you should test for syphilis and herpes. If it's 3 months after the encounter with the prostitute, both tests will be accurate.

All the best.
