Question regarding symptoms following treatment of Chlamydia

About 3 weeks back I was experiencing some on and off irregular spotting and mild lower abdominal pain so I decided to make a GYNO appointment due to me having a pretty regular cycle and been on the pill for a couple years. I had also been noticing some clear-odorless-water like leakage in my underwear periodically for a little while, but it had been more so recently (changing underwear few times per day)- but didn't think nothing of the leakage Bc I have had two vaginal deliveries and I just ruled it as possibly bladder leak.....but I figured I would mention it while at my appointment. My GYNO did a pelvic exam and performed a vaginal swab test. Later that evening I received a shocking phone call from him stating I tested Positive for Chlamydia. ( I tested negative for Gonorrhea ) I would of never imagined that I had an STD. So my GYNO prescribed my partner and I Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg each 1 capsule for 14 days. I only took the "Hyclate" version for a few days Bc my insurance would not cover it and I had to pay out of pocket for it...So, my Dr. Changed the prescription over to the Doxycycline Mono 100mg that my insurance was willing to cover. (There was no absence in days between change in doxy's). Today is my final pill for the prescribed 14 days and I noticed thick yellow-green snot like discharge upon patting dry on the toilet.... Did the antibiotic not work?? Could there be more going on? PID?! I only had intercourse with my partner in my two weeks of treatment and it was with a condom. Please help and thanks in advance!

Thank you for fast reply. I as well wondered if possibly Trich but in that swab test that had a Positive for Chlamydia, shown Negative for Trich. and I haven't noticed any odor or itchiness. Do some Chlamydia cases take longer than a two week prescription to treat?! I never noticed this consistency or color discharge prior though, to make me think it is still the Chlamydia infection. I called my GYNO, but obviously with them getting back to me so late into the day on a Friday- they will not be able to retest and do another exam until Monday.

Hi, swabs are very accurate and false positives for chlamydia are quite rare. Women can be asymptomatic and carry the bacteria for a few years but studies have shown that the womens natural immune system would clear it up by itself by that time. In men it would clear itself up in a few month but couldbe recontracted if exposed again.
The anitiotics are known to cause a yeast infection like your describing but the green discharge is a bit concerning as is a symptom of trich but if you had trich you should also have other symptoms like itching. I would certainly call your gyno about the green.
