Risk assessment.. Need any testing?

Hello vance and grace

Yesterday was my birthday and I decided to join u all!!!

I have been following your posts and have acquired a really great peace of mind without the need to ever post a question.  I just posted one on the anxiety forum and someone told me to get tested. (http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Anxiety/anxiety-due-to-stds/show/1691449)
I don't really want to waste my money testing for stds and breaking my head for no risk situations. (The posts of Dr Hansfield also gave much solace.)I was really hesitant to ask you this question since it may be nothing at all.  I just want confirmation.

Here is what happened... Oral protected with CSW recently.  Was behind her in shower for few seconds, penis may have brushed against her BACK OR BUTTOCKS for FEW SECONDS (2 - 5 seconds?).  ANY RISK?

While im well versed about HIV and other Stds from penetrative sex such as NGU, Gonnorhea and all, im not so acquainted with STDs transmitted by skin to skin such as Herpees, syphyllis, molluscum and scabies, crabs.  This little thing had been going on and on since few days..

Please note that im going to take your word for gospel and will be helping you with the STD posts out here once this issue is resolved.

Just to Confirm

Knowing your "risk" you can test now and it will be conclusive because you had no risk.

Hello Vance

After much reading and knowing, and also after reading your post saying no risk again and again, iv decided to move on in life.  I will not test for anything anymore.

Im going to see a therapist next Monday and relate my fears.  Iv decided to take your word as an expert to be true and have decided to move on in my life.

Thanks for all.

Ya I know...but just to never be paranoid in my life.. Iv decided to go and propose a girl Iv secretly loved after resolving this problem in May.  Thats why I wanted a conclusive time frame!

The mind can be tricky sometimes.

Thank you vance.

Keep up the good work.

hey Vance,

I have decided to get some test done in the end...for peace of mind... Im sure they will be negative but just not to continue on breaking my head with the "what if" things and all that... And to move on definitely forever...

My encounter was on 25th february... I will be giving blood sample on 19th May which will make 12 weeks (84 days)...  I will test for HIV, Hep B, Syphilis, and Herpes.

Will the time frame be okay or should i wait more?

See you on the forum

Thx

Thank you for any help you can give. My advice is to go into the expert forum and read responces there to help you understand the questions we get here.

As for therapy...just tell the truth. You can't be helped without confronting what is causing anxiety. Now if you have general anxiety and not just over this situation then you can just speak about your overall anxiety.

NO TESTING FOR ME!!!!!

All this had been clogging my mind.  Im not even sure it touched...but am sure that it never touched the backside "crack" (sorry if its vulgar).
If ever I am seeing a therapist for counselling (iv never seen one), what do i tell her/him?  I'm bit afraid to talk about it to anyone face to face.

But I got to move on, that's why I am asking.  Thank you.

I love you for the work you are doing!

Take care

I will be online to give a helping hand in questions that i can answer whenever I am not at work.

Thanks again.

Well my word is not the gospel, but a simple touch, brush like that is not a risk for a STD.
