Risk of anal cancer

Hi everyone,
I'm working in Africa. My coworkers and I sometimes go to have sex with local CSWs. We are all straight men and stick to condom protected vaginal sex and sometimes unprotected oral sex.
But one of my friend has been diagnosed with anal warts by chance(he used to have hemmoroids and felt uncomfortable ), how could it happen? He never had anal sex!
Does it mean all of us have a risk of catching hpv on anal area?

Hi grace
I have several questions:
1. Can a male have an anal Pap smear test? If yes, how accurate is it?
2. Where can I have HTLV1 &2 test in the US?
