STD or UTI? (or something else?)

Over new years I cheated on my girlfriend. I did not have sex with anyone, but ended up making out with a girl. We were both in our underwear, and the underwear never came off. Two days after this I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. A few days later I started to notice a slight urethral irritation. Now, every time I urinate I am feeling a burning sensation and the urge to urinate more frequently. I don't know if it is related to the urethral problem, but my stomach is also upset. It might be from the stress. I have no discharge or any other symptoms. Just a slight urethral itch/pain that comes off and on, and escpecially when I urinate. So I have a few questions. What are the odds that I could have gotten an std through what was basically "dry sex"? there was genital contact, but only through underwear. If it IS an std, what are the odds that I gave it to my girlfriend when we had sex two days after my possible exposure? (this was several days before symptoms occured). Lastly, when my girlfriend and I had sex, we also had anal sex. Could this cause a UTI? Or is there anything else that causes general urethral discomfort, plus burning while urinating and frequent urination? Thank You.

I merely meant that it seems as if God is trying to make me realize that there are consequences to my actions. Sorry, I did not mean to offend you. It has been a long week, I appologize that I am a bit emotional.

"This is proof that there is a God, and he has a sick sense of humor."-I think this is a rather offensive post. You think God is watching you and says well this guy did this so I am going to give him a STD?

Thank you Vance. Visited my doctor today, he said that it is HIGHLY unlikely that it is an STD. I got tested anyway. He diagnosed me with Prostititis (Inflamation of the Prostate Gland), and said that it was probably caused by the unprotected anal sex and introduction of E. Coli into my urethra. I can rest a bit easier now... But I am still nervous about the STD test. Results will be here in a week. This is proof that there is a God, and he has a sick sense of humor.

You had no risk for a STD from the above encounter.
Best advice is to see a Dr, if you had unprotected anal sex it could be bacteria that is causing these issues.
