Unprotected ********

Hi all, so I made a terrible mistake last night and regretted it immediately after...

I recieved a blowjob unprotected from a 45 year old(probably older) prostitute. It lasted about 2-5 minutes or so...
What really worries me is she seemed to have a cold or something. She sounded sick the way she was talking and seemed to have sniffles...and I tried texting her to ask if she is clean and std free, but she is ignoring me, so that worries me too.

What STD's do I need to worry about? And is there any risk of HIV here? I get extremely paranoid about these things, which is why I should have never went in the first place.

I would wait a bit to get tested so you aren't wasting your time by testing to early for things.  I made this mistake and it just cause second guessing.  You can google the optimal test windows for anything you're concerned about.  Prayers your way!

Herpes can be spread with no outbreak (shedding) but is much less likely, hsv1 is usually on the mouth and doesn't really like to spread to the genitals, but with that said about 50% of all new genital herpes cases are being caused by hsv1. Hsv2 is the strain that is most associated with genital herpes in general. Check out the herpes forum on here its pretty insightful and people are pretty helpful and very knowledgeable

Right off the bat, contracting HIV from oral sex is basically impossible so I wouldn't worry about that.

The main STD that can be transmitted through contact of this kind is herpes, and even then the infected person usually has to be in the middle of a breakout for the disease to be transmitted. Other less likely options are chlamydia and gonorrhea which could be transmitted to you if she has an oral case of either, and oral cases are relatively rare. Both gonorrhea and chlamydia are bacterial and can be cured with a course of antibiotics.

If you're this concerned, go get tested. That's always your safest bet.
