Sex while on period

So I just did the stupidest thing ever. I went to a local bar, met a cute 22-year old (I'm 32), we spent the night drinking and ended up in bed at my house. We had unprotected sex and after about 10 mins, I wanted to change positions and upon pulling out, my penis was covered in blood. She was very embarrassed and said that it was the unexpected start of her period.
What made matters worse is that throughout the conversation, I noticed track marks on her hands, at which point she admitted to being a former iv drug user (between 19 and 21).
That totally freaked me out and I naturally asked if she had any std's. She got a bit offended and said she's clean and never had a disease.
So is it safe to assume that if she has anything, I automatically contracted it because of the blood involvement?
Thanks all

Thanks for the reply. I will get tested. Does the involvement of blood increase the risks? Thanks

No, but either way you had a risk and should test.
