Sometimes itcy remnant feeling directly under the penis head

My girlfriend has been fighting with gardnerella on and off for the last few months.  Before the summer, she never had it.  She was diagnosed with it, gardnerella, in August and was given Metronidazole for a week.  This was before I met her.  She's always used condoms, but is allergic from both latex and spermicide.  We became sexually active together in December.  We used a latex condom with spermicide.  At that point, she did not know if she was allergic to them or not.  Nonetheless, a few hours later, she broke out in hives.  She took benadryl, and the hives were gone in a few hours.  Next week we had sex again with a latex condom without spermicide.  She, again, broke out in hives.  Took another benadryl, and the symptoms went away.  A few days later, she was complaining of itching and burning when she urinated.  Went to the doc and they confirmed a UTI.  Gave her Cipro for a week and it went away.  She was still burning, so they gave her another dose of Metronidazole, no more itching nor burning.  She was also tested for STDs, negative on all.  However, she had around a .9 on HSV positive.  She was checked three more times with HSV, again .9 or lower with IGG I believe.  We always used condoms for vaginal intercourse.  Since the latex was no good we switched to natural ones.

When this came about, I started to urinate a lot and it did not really burn when I urinated, but felt something at the base of the shaft of my penis.  Went to the doc, he said it was an inflamed prostate and gave me a week of Cipro.  Four days in on Cipro, I would occasionally get a remnant feel which I would scratch either the right or left side of the penis directly under the penis head.  No bumps, legions, never hurt to touch, masturbate or ejaculate.  Called the doc, was told it was due to the Cipro.  Been off the Cipro for a few days and that remnancy bothers me a few times a day.  Never more than a few minutes, but does bother me at times.  Also, penis is sensitive sometimes, and a dull ache every now and again.

Not sure what to do...  No fever or anything else.

really nothing to do but wait to see what your lesion culture shows.

I change the bandaid twice a day on the abrasion and add some first aid cream like neosporin.  When I got up today to take a look at the deflated blister, the redness under the blister is gone and the blister itself is yellow in color, like a normal bruise healing.  This nearly exactly one day after it appeared.  From what I am reading about herpes blisters, they do not change that fast and it has a silverish coding, not yellow.

The painless water blister was on my thigh, not my genitals.  I have nothing on my genitals anywhere.  Just a little pain now from the urethra swap.  That was a surprise.  Didn't even hurt when the doc popped it.  A small sting and then it was gone.  Doesn't hurt now either.  When I took the bandaid off, you can barely see it.  A deflated bubble with a little red under it.

odds are you would never describe a herpes blister as painless.  trust me on that one!

wait for your test results and go from there.

no more peroxide on your genitals! it's non-chlorine bleach and very drying and irritating to the sensitive genital skin.

Just saw the doc today, said everything was fine.  He told me it is nothing.  Also, this morning, I saw a painless blister on my leg.  One, close to the size of a dime.  Touching it, it does not hurt.  I showed the doc, I asked do you know it is?  He said a blister.  He then looked at my genitals and said nothing is there.  I said could it be herpes?  He doubts it, but I requested for him to break it and send it out for further testing.  Stung a little bit after he popped it, but that is it.  I asked if I should go on Valtrex?  He said why?  Cause it could be Herpes.  He said I am driving myself crazy for nothing.  He said let's wait for the results and go from there.  At home, I took a shower and poured Peroxide over it to see if it would fizzle or burn.  Nothing happened.  I then poured the entire bottle on it to be sure, still nothing.  I was told and I read on the Internet, if there was a virus or infection there Peroxide would fizzle or burn.  Nothing on both.

Not sure.

everyone who is sexually active should be sexually responsible and get std testing in between partners :)

it often takes more than a few days for antifungals to work. might want to try them again for longer this time.

when you were seen , did they do a prostate exam too?

I am mainly concerned about why my I have occasional itching directly under the penis head randomly at different spots as well as why my penis aches inside.

I am going to look into the polyurethane condoms.  I used an anti-fungal cream for a few days, but it did not work very well.  I've not been STD tested, so I am thinking about doing that too.  However, the doc did not think it was an STD, and when I asked for an STD test, he did not think it was necessary.  Yes, for the most part, preventing pregnancy and should she have HSV, for it not to transmit to me.  Hence forth, we're going to stop using the natural condoms and try out these polyurethane.  I'll see if I can pick up some this weekend.

natural condoms aren't helpful for std prevention. they make polyurethane condoms you can use but if you've both had full std testing and are negative, no reason to be worried about std's.  are you preventing pregnancy?

you have to continue using antifungal creams 2x/day for a full week after symptoms stop or it'll just come right back again. did you use it that way?

if her herpes igg results are all under .9, she doesn't have genital herpes going on.

not unusual for us gals to get uti's from sex. combined with allergic reactions, no real reason to be overly suspicious for std's from what you've posted.

Also, I wanted to add.  She did previously have both Mono and Shingles.  Three doctors told her not to worry about it as it is probably a false negative.  One doctor said there is a slight chance.  Regardless, none of them prescribed her any Herpes medication.  I've only been with one other woman in my life, so I know I do not have an STD from that point.  In terms of the under penis head feelings, they come and go.  I tried some anti-fungi cream it did stop the itch I believe, but it came back after three days.  Tried neosporin, no ill effects.  Tried moisturizer with oatmeal, and I felt a cooling sensation.  Since my skin is often dry and it looked like my penis was dry, that is why I thought it would be a good idea.

Not to be too graphic, but I had given her oral well over a dozen times, nothing is on my face or tongue (knock on wood).  While she was aroused, she was sliding over my leg while I was getting the condom on (lambskin), no abnormalities on the leg either.  My fingers were also inside her, nothing there too.

So, again, I do not know what to do..  Please help and advise, as my mind is running around corners.  Within nearly two months of sex, oral or vaginal, if she did have Herpes, or something else, one would think both of use would have had symptoms.  Aside from her bacterial infection and UTI, nothing else.  She did have one acne pimple inside her virginia, but the nurse said it was nothing and it went away within two days.
