Std testing

Exactly 1 week after protected sex i had a std test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. The results were negative. Was the test to soon to give accurate results or can i move on? Thanks.

Yea the window period is around one week. It is highly accurate.

So given it was protected sex, so its unlikely i got anything plus a negative 1 week test. Pretty safe to move on, yeah?

I'll add my doctor said it was enough time for an accurate result.
