What was your risk?

Syphilis is uncommon in most places, so 36 days would be fine for most people, especially if you don't have symptoms.

Very light Frottage with another male....no present sores on him I could see anywhere, but just being safe rather than sorry...
Oh yeah....I have no symptoms, just thought I'd better be safe rather than sorry since I dont know how good the healthcare is where I'm going for a few months...Thx!
Light frottage - I'm assuming you were unclothed? If you were clothed, there's no risk.

With no symptoms, I'd say 36 days is fine, especially since you didn't see any sores on him.

Enjoy your trip. :)
