Chances of syphilis

Greetings, doctor!
Seeking your advice with the following concern. About 8 weeks ago a had an unprotected oral sex (insertive) with a male partner. Shortly after that I developed a chest infection which was treated with antibiotics (azithromicyn 3 x 500mg). I had no symptoms and wasn't concerned, but found a small lump on my testicle and went to my GP to check it. He ordered urine test for STIs and ultrasound, all came back negative. No cancer, no bacterial infection.
All good, but I notices very slightly enlarged pymph node in my groin (one side only), it's not painful and not big, I can hardly feel it, but it's there.
The only thing I'm concerned about now is possiblity of syphilis, which urine tests would not show. If the guy had a chancre in his mouth I would not see it.
What are my chances? If I did have exposure to syphilis, would the very early antibiotic treatment have killed it? Do I need to get a blood test for syphilis? Is it possible to have primary syphilis without chancre?
Thank you for your help!
