Received oral

I received oral from a man that I do not know. He said that he is clean and gets checked regularly. I am married and am nervous about having an std. Is it possible to be infected with an std from receiving oral? Is it likely?

How would I go about being tested and how long does it take to get results?

IF it appears on average its after a week or so. The only way to confirm is a blood test after 3 months post exposure. But here your problem and why you should test now. You may already have oral hsv1 as most people do and if you wait 3 months you wont know if its oral from childhood or genital from the affair. If you test now and are positive from childhood you would be basicly immune to contracting it genital. And if your negative now and negative at the 3 months mark youd be ok and not exposure it to her. Also she might already have it oral  and if so would also be basicly immune to contracting it genital.
You donot want your wife to get genital hsv1.

Hi, its not likely for an std like gono but the bigger risk is if he has oral hsv1 as it sheds about 9-18% of the time. So if he was sheding you would be herpes 1 on your penis and pass it to your wife during unprotected sex
