The med didn't work?

Hello,

I went to a urologist last week Thursday, he took a look at my urinate sample and said there were some bacterias in it. So he gave me a 1 gram of Azithromycin and 4 tablets of Metronidazole 500MG for Chlamydia and Vaginosis treatment. He told me to wait for a week before intercourse or anything.

The symptoms of burning sensation were less as the days go, but now it's the 5th day, and the sensation seems to be coming back, and I didn't do anything.

So... How long does it take to cure Chlamydia and Vaginosis?
Could I be having other STD instead?

I can't advise you on what is going on, but can tell you as you probably know that blood is not normal. Seeing a Dr is your best action.

Hello,

This is probably another issue but i'll just post it here since it's all related...

So today I'm still experiencing discharge when I push the urethra, but this time it's mixed with blood..... It really worries me, and I wouldn't be able to get a hold of my urologist till next week.

I have been having erections constantly, but no sexual activities.
What the hell's going on?

Thanks.

This might be NGU. Yes symptoms can last for 2 weeks.

So the med could have killed the bacteria but the symptoms could stay up to 2 weeks?

I'm still experiencing clear discharge when I push the urethra.

Thanks.

Well I don't see that you were diagnosed with an actual test, just from visual exam on the urine. So I can't give you much info on this. Based on the diagnosis it normally takes a couple of days to be cured but symptoms could last up to 2 weeks. If symptoms get worse or continue after 2 weeks see your Dr again and ask for specific testing...gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU and other bacteria.

Oh, I had masturbated twice since taking the med.... And quite a few times having an erection.... Not sure if that's a factor =/
