Thoughts anyone ??

Anybody experience something similar?
Intense vaginal itching, cuts on labia- moved to rectum.  The itch became unbearable causing haemorrhoids and fissures.   I have UTI symptoms — super frequent urination, and burning urethra BUT not when I urinate.

Also started getting GI issues after the itch down there.   Upper left stomach pain, alternating constipation and diarrhea, pressure in rectum.

I have tested negative for every STD going, yeast and BV.  Negative for food allergies.
The itch is unbearable and seems to get worse after urinating, showering, exercise.

Had sex — my body freaked out.   Full body muscle twitching that was extremely intense and landed me in bed for 3 days, cuts on lips, and then the same itch hit me in the nose and eyes.  Blood work mid attack showed elevated WBC and Neutrophils. My Vitamin D also low.     Very very low positive for autoimmine to the point the medical specialist dismissed it entirely.

My doctor is dismissing that this is any type of infection and thinks it’s Lupus.  BUT given the issues down there I really think it’s some kind of weird strain bacteria or yeast.

Thoughts anybody ?!?  Suggestions ?!?
Please and thank you.

Did they test you for a gluten allergy?

This isn't an STD - I can tell you that for sure. I would continue to follow up on the lupus evaluation, and if your doctor thinks it's that, ask for a second opinion from another specialist. It could definitely be really bad yeast.

In the meantime, track every food and drink you eat, note when symptoms get worse or improve even a little.

Also, get your home checked for mold. You can buy an inexpensive one at the hardware store that isn't as thorough as calling in a professional, but it's a good place to start and can help determine if you need to get the professional involved.

I hope you find some answers and relief.

It does sound like a yeast infection.  I would think they'd try to treat you for that.  At this point, it sounds very uncomfortable so the medication by mouth they give would be what I'd want.  Although many do treat that with over the counter remedies like Monostat. Lupus is an autoimmune disease.  Overgrowth of yeast is common with lupus patients.  However, that does not mean they shouldn't treat the yeast infection to make you more comfortable!  So, you've been evaluated for lupus and came out on the low end so they do not want to do medical intervention?  That would make me unhappy to not have better planning and guidance on what you should be doing. But allowing a raging yeast infection to go on of which you have classic symptoms is not appropriate in my opinion.  I'd seek further care for this and be your own advocate to getting the vaginal yeast infection cleared up.  I'd want the tablet form for systemic treatment.  Let us know what happens.
