Hi there, I really need some help for my own peace of mind. I am a gay man with very limited experience. I have a partner of 3 and a half years, and he is the only person I have been with besides one brief encounter before that. I tend to suffer from sore throats somewhat often, and I tend to constantly get tonsil stones often as well, even when I do not have a sore throat. I have done plenty of research and have come across many posts about the possibility of getting gonorrhea of the throat and it has me extremely paranoid. During my first encounter with a man, he performed oral sex on me, and I did on him for a brief amount of time, but I do remember him having a decent amount of preejaculation. Based on my research I have seen that throat gonorrhea is very commonly asymptomatic which has freaked me out. With that being said, is this something that I should be worried about? It has been about 4 years since that encounter and I have never been paranoid about it until now that I've done some research. Would my partner have gotten regular gonorrhea by now from me performing oral sex on him? Or would he be asymptomic as well. I need to know if I am just being paranoid. Tired of worrying about this, especially since I have been with my partner for years and I am just worried about the one encounter I had years ago. Also, is it possible for my throat to just get irritated often from the tonsil stones I develop? I recently went to an ENT and was told that my acid reflux could be the cause of bacteria, and tonsil stone build up. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
