Treatments?

I have been to the dermatologist. He used liquid nitrogen to treat them. He specifically called them Molluscum Contagiosum. They keep appearing and spreading from my groin to my inner thigh. They are relentless. How can you treat and stop them? I have found some treatments over the internet using silver, tree oil, and iodine, but I am skeptical. What about Retin-A? Will salicylic acid work? Im confused and very frustrated with this condition. Please any info would be very appreciated

I have found benzoyl peroxide 10% to be as effective as freezing, less painful, and quick. Just put it on 5-6 times a day, whenever you use the bathroom. Then fan it with a piece of paper to make sure the medicine dries. Wear loose clothing if possible. Should clear in a few weeks.

All these tratments you mention can work, just be patient . Remember to wash your hands before and after treating each area, do not "pop" the molluscum with your fingers as this spreads the virus. Good luck. Take care.
