Trich scaring me to death

Hi i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 5 months agoand he gave me trich. This was my first time ever having sex but it wasn't his. This happened in October 2016. Trich did not go away the first time with 4 500 mg of metrodinazole. So I went back a month later cause I still felt an slight itch so my doc prescribed tinidazole 4 500 mg twice a day. Could it have went away this time? Or could this be a sign of HIV have read so many stories of trich being a high risk for HIV. I also have muscle and joint pain now. Has anyone been through this and came out negative. Please post if you did. Really freaking out having lots of anxiety. Thanks.

Correction, if you dont have a greenish vaginal discharge then its most likley you dont have trich. I say this because we cant diagnose here as my statement was misleading saying you dont have trich.

Hi if you dont have a greenish vaginal discharge then you dont have trich as this is the more frequent symptom of it in women and if you were tested positive for trich before and did not have a greenish discharge theres a chance you did not have it then. Itching in itself is not the more common symptom.
I would not be concerned at all about HIV as you fall into a low risk group being heterosexual. but test if your concerned. you can have the DUO test at 28 days post exposure.
