Trichinosis without being unfaithful? HELP

I am 99% sure I have Trichinosis, but I will be getting checked in the next few days. I tend to get yeast infections fairly often, mostly right before my period, so my symptoms were unpleasant but not alarming. However, this time, I was having many other weird symptoms as well. My labia was so sore and swollen and itchy and I developed a small red blotch that was itchy right on my inner thigh. I also noticed my discharge was a little bit green, although VERY light green, and there was an unpleasant odor. Stupidly, I pretty much chalked it up to more yeast infection problems, until I decided to find a natural supplement (grapefruit seed extract) to help with the yeast. While I was browsing, one website explained that BV and Trich are often misdiagnosed at a yeast infection.... after further research, Trich seems extremely correct.

I am in my early 20s, as is my fiance, and we have been together since we were 16. We both have never had ANY other sexual partners in our entire lives (I hoped) but I know for a fact that I have done no fooling around. I feel sick reading things that say there is NO OTHER WAY to contract trich without unprotected sex with an infected person, since I didn't and that only leaves him.

The only other thing worth mentioning is that in May one of my wisdom teeth became infected, and I was put on 14 days of amoxicillin. Once that cleared up, I had my wisdom teeth taken out on 6/5/12 and then was on amoxicillin for another 10 days. I cannot really remember if the symptoms began after the surgery or before, but it was very very close in the time frame.

bottom line is - you need to be seen and get some proper testing done. This is far more likely to be bv or some other infection than it is trich based on your history with your partner.

no more self treating, get a proper exam and testing done preferably today or tomorrow so you can start treating this right.

No, trichomonas is transmitted sexually. It can be transmitted from men to women, penis to vagina or woman to man or woman to woman. So, I don't know what is going on unless he had it to start with and was asymptomatic and gave it to you? How long have you been together intimately? Were you tested and found positive for Trich or you just think you have the symptoms? If you weren't tested you should get tested. The amoxicillin isn't what they give you to treat trich it is metronidazole.
