Unprotected Oral/Anal STD risk or prostatitis?

Last week, 3/20 I had unprotected anal with a new partner and have had some issues starting the day after.  I'm sure a lot of it is due to anxiety but please give me some peace of mind.

The partner says they have not had sex with anyone after their last STD test performed 3 months prior.  Since the sex, I have experienced a tingling sensation at the tip of my penis, my genitals have a "cooling" sensation every so often.  I have NOT had any discharge, foul smelling urine, sores, since the incident.  I have had all my pelvic muscles tight a few days after sex so my lower abdomen feels "tired/cramped"  I went to my doctor yesterday, 3/27, and had a urinalysis done in the office that detected trace amounts of blood in my urine.  He thinks I have a case of prostatitis and put me on Ciprofloxacin 2x daily for 10 days and have a followup on that day.  I also had him get me a prescription for 2g Azithromycin, 2g Metronidazole, and then 1g of Cephalexin all taken on 3/27.

I asked if I could possibly have chlamydia or gonorrhea but he said with blood in the urinalysis and my given symptoms, "If you had gonorrhea you would have known and felt it by now."

In any case, with the medication taken above with the ciprofloxacin for 10 days.  Would I be covered for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich?  Should I ask for those tests when I go back for the for the followup or would the antibiotics really skew the results?

Am I just overreacting?

You're overreacting.  Your doctor is correct:  gonorrhea or chlamydia would have caused discharge or burning while urinating.

You discussed your STD status with your partner, which is good.  You should also schedule an HIV screening and STI exam as part of your regular check-up annually, or, if you're very active, semi-annually.

Tingling sensation and "cooling" are not STI symptoms.

Thank you. I don’t know if I would call it a burning sensation but the tingle/itch at the tip of my penis was pretty constant until I went to the doctor. The tip still itches a little but not as much. The ache behind my scrotum is starting to go away but I still have a fairly weak stream. I’m just terrified that it isn’t a UTI and that gonorrhea or chlamydia have infected my prostate since I waited 7 days for treatment and that the azithromycin would have been ineffective. Should I ask to see if I can’t get innoculated with Ceftriaxone and another round of azithromycin when I go in for the 10 check up?
I suppose I should have asked if you were the penetrative partner (top) or receptive partner (bottom).  I assumed that you were the penetrative partner; if you were the receptive partner, the symptoms for gonorrhea would be different (discharge from your rectum, painful bowel movements, etc.)

In any case, you're probably still getting yourself worked up.  And it's probably not a good idea for you to steer your doctor.  Let her evaluate your symptoms and recommend a course of treatment if necessary.  (Sometimes people end up getting antibiotics or medicine they don't need just because they're feeling paranoid about an infection, which isn't healthy either.)  Have an honest conversation with your doctor about your sexual practices, and let her recommend the appropriate tests and treatment.

The dull ache, the tingle/itch, the weak urinating stream - these don't sound like STI symptoms.
