Ureaplasma ?

I am a Male age 41. I've never had been diagnosed with an STD, ever. nor any of my girlfriends (ages 36 and 40). We all get tested at least every 6 months and we all come back negative across the board. I have 2 present girlfriends. I am allergic to certain Latex condoms, so one GF an I have unprotected sex (because of her inability to become pregnant) and the other (whom is exceptionally fertile) I use a non latex condom. I am very particular about contracting anything and way too honest to have something and not inform those involved of an infection I may harbour. I'd rather hurt your feelings by telling you the truth, than to lie to you by not saying anything at all.
My 2nd girlfriend that I use the non latex condom on had told me about a recurring UTI that she has. When she saw her OBGYN he informed her that she did have a Urinary Tract Infection and the presence of Ureaplasma. She had gotten treated and we continued having protected sex. Recently within the last week, she informed me that she had another UTI and had gotten tested and voila, Ureaplasma. (Keep in mind that the other Girlfriend has no symptoms, issues or problems.)
So I decided to not only research Ureaplasma, but to also present it to my doctor. As well as tell my other sexual partner. My findings were that Ureaplasma isn't an STD at all, however, its listed with Chlamydia ?, which is an STD. And that's the confusing part because if I or them had Chlamydia, it hasn't shown up in any of our tests.
Furthermore, as with my research I found out that Ureaplasma is present in the human reproductive tract and our bodies natural Bacteria Flora. A few other websites suggested that Ureaplasma can come from Yeast Infections and certain people exhibit or show no signs of infection.
Yesterday I took this information to my Doctor and was given 4 tablets of Azithromycin 250 mg , as a single treatment for my exposure? So is that it? Only 1 single treatment for Men with Ureaplasma?
Upon being discharged from my Doctors office, I was given in my packet of paperwork suggesting that my visit was for STD's. And even on a listing of symptoms and checklist of activities to avoid? But again, its not an STD !

Also why is the presence of Ureaplasma not classified as a Sexually Transmitted Disease, but it is listed with Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.?
Moreover, I am under the belief  that men are the carries and Hosts of Ureaplasma, because we do not generally bare symptoms. But if present, it can result in reproductive harm in both Men and Women, miscarriage and still birth in women. So can anyone please explain why this hasn't been classified as an STD, or STI but can be passed through sexual contact. And what are the steps I can take to make sure that myself, or any of my sexual partners no longer develop Ureaplasma in the future. Adding that it exists in our bodies already?
