Herpes or other issue?

A little over 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with an 18 year old boy.  We started with a condom, but it wouldn't fit properly and kept falling off.  After the first exposure I felt some inflation in my vagina.

Had sex with him again a week later.  Again, started with a condom, he ended with a broken condom.... I immediately took a morning-after pill.  However, the inflation in my vagina has gotten worse.  I have had consistent tingling sensations throughout the outer lips, with a few bursts of internal pain.  After three weeks of irritation, today has been the most painful day yet: the periodic tingling has spread to my butt, and upper thigh and the sensations have become periodically prickly and uncomfortable.  I sometimes feel a bolt of lightning through my hands, arms, and other parts of my body at random times.  I have felt moments of extreme nausea twice today along with a few short-lived headaches.  No fever or swollen lymph nodes. No bumps or lesions.  My vagina and lips look and feel inflamed.  Started bleeding, which I assume is my period since it's been a month.

So far I have been to the gyno three times in the past three weeks.  The first time was the day that the condom broke.  I went to get a morning after pill and she gave me a checkup, culture, and gonorrhea and.clamydia test. Did not check for herpes because my doctor said that it wouldn't show up in the blood test.  All came back normal.  Figured it was a yeast infection but didn't go away after three days of mono-stat.

Went back to the gyno a week later.  Culture, trich, yeast infection, and physical exam.  All came back normal. No sores or lesions.  That gyno basically told me that I am being paranoid and didn't think there was anything wrong.

Since I woke up with excruciating pain this morning, I made an appointment with a new gyno.  Physical examination fine and discharge normal.  Sent labwork for gonorrhea, clamydia, and BV.  Blood test for herpes 1 and 2.

Questions:
1. How likely is it to pass on the herpes virus with no symptoms.  How common is viral shedding?

2. Can the pre stages take this long for herpes lesions to develop?  Could I have the virus and not develop lesions.

3. Will herpes even show up in a blood test this early?

4. Are there other diseases or vaginal issues that I may want to look into?

Thank you so much for answering my questions.  I have been troubled by this problem for weeks now, and the chinese doctors here are overpriced and unaware.  I have spent about $1000 for no answers.

Please post your questions about herpes in the Herpes Community.  The link is above in blue.  The information wannebemommy gave you is not completely accurate. For in stance...you can most definitely pass herpes without a visible outbreak due to viral shedding (which you did ask about).  The statistics depend on which type. Grace may also add some information but please, visit the forum dedicated to questions like yours for the best help.
