Oral sex realistic risk?

Hi, I had a encounter at a massage parlor Monday. The woman put her mouth on my penis for a minute or two before I stopped her. When I got home I wiped myself down with rubbing alcohol and soap and water and hope that was enough. Is there any realistic chance i could have gotten anything? I went back after and she said she didn’t have anything but I’m freaking out. How long before I would show any symptoms and wait get tested if needed.
I’ve read a lot in this forum over the past 2 days and I believe I’m over reacting but don’t want to infect my girlfriend with anything.
Thanks

Sorry for the repeated follow ups, just keep remembering details and questions and don’t wanna bother you for more posts so you can continue doing the great work you do.

When she had her mouth on me it really didn’t feel like her tongue touched me. Just her lips and not even that much, like she was doing it for show more then pleasure to be crude.

Again sorry and thank you for any and all responses.

I will try to get all your questions, but let me know if I miss anything.

After that I left and within 20 minutes I soaked my penis in rubbing alcohol (91%) for several minutes (5-10) and continuously washed with soap and hot water for like 20-30 minutes.

1)Did anything I do regarding cleanup help me out at all?

Maybe? Maybe not? You may have just succeeded in irritating the hell out of your penis. There's no real evidence that washing after sex prevents infection, but it makes a lot of people feel better mentally. There is absolutely no reason to ever soak your genitals in rubbing alcohol. If you get dry or flaky skin, itching, irritation now, my guess is it will be from that. This could also cause burning in your urethra.

Since the alcohol could kill off some bacteria on your skin that you need to have to keep fungi in check, if you get a fungal infection, don't be alarmed.

2) How likely am I to actually have caught something?
I know the doctors on here say not to even test after one oral experience. I know you can’t give me a definitive answer but I am also nervous about getting the tests at a clinic in case they send something to my apartment and my girlfriend questions a letter from Planned parenthood or a clinic.

After exposure for just 30-45 seconds, the chances of you getting anything are slim.

3) If am an infected with something how likely am I to transfer it to gf though unprotected sex for the next few weeks before I can confirm status. I don’t wanna throw up red flags not wanting to have sex for 6 weeks and we usually start without condom then put it on halfway through the deed.

Unless you have a syphilis sore, you won't transmit it. It takes 3 weeks to 90 days for that to appear (average of 21 days), and syphilis is uncommon. I wouldn't worry about that.

If you got gonorrhea, which is also uncommon, though not as uncommon as syphilis, it's more likely that you'd transmit it to your gf.

If you got genital herpes type 1, it's highly unlikely that you'd ever transmit that to your girlfriend. It doesn't recur frequently, and doesn't shed frequently, which means it rarely ever transmits from the genitals. If you have symptoms, though, don't have sex. This is a hard rule for sex - if you ever have symptoms of anything, don't have sex. You can always tell your gf you think you have a fungal infection like jock itch, and don't want to transmit it to her if you need to avoid sex.

NGU is a bit trickier, as it depends on what the bacteria is that is causing your infection. It's possible.

I understand why you are panicking, but there really isn't any need to. Chances are really good that you didn't get anything from a 30-45 second blow job.

Oh and Planned Parenthood, a clinic or the state don't send letters as a rule. They would try to contact you by phone first, and if you don't respond, they may try to send you a letter, but that would be last case scenario. The only things the state would contact you for is gonorrhea and syphilis. The others aren't reportable to the state, so the state wouldn't get involved.

Thank you so much for the detailed response, I’m feeling much better I know it’s very unlikely I got anything just having a few days of panic and googling is terrifying.
I appreciate all the work you are doing, just reading this site for a few days and you help so often.

Thanks so much!!
Oh yeah, definitely stop the googling. It's a scary world out there on google, and it's hard to say what's accurate and what isn't.

You're very welcome!

Hi when considering risk, what you describe is considered low for syphilis, herpes and NSU from mouth bacteria but since you have a girl friend it would be advised to test for these her protection.

How long would you say I  should wait to get tested? Would going 6 days after be ok ?
6 days would be fine for NSU and gonorrhea (which you are at risk for but is also pretty low), but it can take up to 90 days to show positive on a test for syphilis, though the average is 6 weeks. Syphilis is uncommon enough that if you don't have symptoms by 6 weeks, and test negative, I wouldn't worry at all.

Herpes is a bit more complicated. Receiving oral sex puts you at risk for genital hsv1, if you don't have it already. Around half the adult population has it, and 90% of them won't ever get a cold sore so they don't know they have it. If you have it already orally, you can't get it again in a different location.

You can test now with a type specific IgG blood test (don't let them give you an IgM test - it's unreliable), and if it's positive, it's a pre-existing oral infection, statistically. If it's negative, test again at 4 months.

Keep in mind that all this is just information, and your risk from oral sex for just a minute or two is pretty low.
Thank you for the response!

Just cause if I don’t tell the full experience it will kill me wondering if my risk is higher.
I got the massage and she did masturbate  me for a few minutes, then put her mouth on it for no more then 30-45 seconds ( I put a minute or two for worst case scenario) before I stopped her. Then she masturbated me to ejaculation for about 2-4 minutes.

After that I left and within 20 minutes I soaked my penis in rubbing alcohol (91%) for several minutes (5-10) and continuously washed with soap and hot water for like 20-30 minutes.

Sorry for the wall of text, You have no idea how much I appreciate the advice.

Thank you!
And I mean unprotected after the test on Saturday if it’s still recommended. But I know that won’t show everything yet.
