What’s this red bump on my penile shaft?

Around 2-3 months ago a red bump showed up on the shaft of my penis. It’s decently large, around the size of a skittle maybe a little smaller. It doesn’t pop, I’ve tried squeezing it a lot of times but give up. It doesn’t hurt unless I squeeze it a lot and doesn’t itch. I have been having regular sex with a girl from college for a few months but always used condoms, and it doesn’t have any of the symptoms of the STIs I looked into that it’s similar to. It got a little smaller when I left it alone and washed very thoroughly but since then it hasn’t improved at all. Even if it’s harmless I really want it to go away because I’m very self conscious about it when I have sex.

It could be any reaction to latex or any other chemical product or even the clothes. If it's persistent, it would be good to talk to your doctor.
