White blood cell and syphillis

Does white blood cell count increase in a syphillis infection?

An increased white blood cell count indicates you may have an infection somewhere in your body.  Anytime your body is trying to fight off any type of infection, this increases.  It's not used to diagnose syphilis.  I guess it would stand to reason that if your immune system is already at work for something going on, it means it is overloaded and perhaps you are more susceptible to other things.  But not necessarily.  Why do you think you have syphilis?  Tell us more about the situation.

Cbc is not a tool for diagnosis of syphilis. It doesnt meant you are clear

Yes. But it is not a reliable way to find out whether one have syphilis

Ok. Let’s suppose I was exposed to syphillis two months ago and a CBC done at two months is within the normal range.  Does that mean I am not infected with syphillis?
