Worried

I have recently been diagnosed with a ruptured bartholins abcess and have been put on 500mg of flucloxacillin. However, the doctor did not test me for any stds. Around the same week as I started to get the abcess I came down with what I think was a bad cold/flu as symptoms included body aches, headaches, cough, stuffy nose, fever and sore throat. I am now worried that the sore throat could  be chlamydia or gonnorhea and that the cold/flu just hasnt let me notice this as they show similar symptoms. What should I do??

Thanks... was just worried as I read that a bartholins cyst can be connected to both them stds in particular!! Think I might just go see he doc when I am finished my course of antibiotics so as she can check to see if the abcess has healed ok.

oral sex is a low risk for gono. you had all the symptoms of a cold. I wouldn't worry about it but if you find it too hard to forget it then just get a swab of your throat
