Definitive test?

Hi! I'm writing this post 'cause I want to know a professional's opinion about my case.

That's it: I had some dangerous sexual relations with my ex-girfriend. We have not used any kind of condom. So, about three months of the exposition to the virus I decided to do an anti-HIV test (ELISA).

So, I did it and the result was: NEGATIVE! After the broke up with my ex-girlfriend I didn't have more sexual relations or share any syringe.

So, my question is: Can the result be considered definitive?
