acne like rash

Hello, I am a 19 year old male who has recently started to develop a series of pimple looking growths in my genital region. At first i thought that it was just an ingrown hair but it has started to spread down my thighs. I do not recall having any un protected sex, but about 6-8 months ago i did wake up after a very long night of drinking with a girl naked (possibly had unprotected sex). I was wondering if this "rash" could be some sort of STD/HIV. Any help or redirection on this matter would be fantastic.

   Thank You.

I would get checked. Although you described it as a rash, if it was more like "pimples" that could be herpes, at the beginning of an out break. Did they turn white at all yet? I hope it is just a rash, but i would get tested. At best you will have peace of mind, at worse you will know how to treat this in the future and prevent the spread of it.

take care

Its doubtful its an std, but get it checked anyway.  Rashes can be indicative of lots of things and that needs medical attention.

Too late to be HIV related the rash. You should test anyway even if you did have unprotected sex you'd be unlucky to have caught HIV other STDs are more of a possibility though, but this rash is more than likely just a rash everyone itches from time to time.
