chlamydia/std question?

Posting for a friend

Is it possible to catch chlamydia/any other std from protected sex? (Besides herpes) Where no breakage happened. It all enters through the urethra correct?

Had sex with a girl and was protected and he had unprotected sex 3 days later with his girlfriend. She showed symptoms of possible yeast infection itchy vagina small clumps of kind of cottage cheese like discharge no smell.  They were on vacation in and out of pool and jacuzzi and on the beach could she have a yeast infection and have nothing to do with his other encounter?

Men don't transfer yeast infection to a woman correct? Doesn't sound like a std on her part?

Thanks

But in general chlamydia/Gonorrhea is contradicted through unprotected sex where bodily fluids go through the urethra correct not touching skin to skin

Sounds like yeast not from him. Unlikely for him to have gotten a STD.
