could my swollen throat be related to an std?

I had unprotected sex on Monday, today is Thursday. Ever since Tuesday I've had a sore throat but today I realized that my glands are swollen and there are a few tiny white spots. It was a weekend full of drinking and smoking, I do smoke but I haven't smoked at all this week because I figured it would make my throat worse. The sex did not last long, I'd say no more than ten minutes to be honest and around the same for oral contact with his genitals. I feel fine other than my throat and nothing is worrying me about my genital area, strictly just my swollen glands. Please help, is this a reason to get tested or should I suspect that it's strep?

Hi, since contracting and std like gono by giving a penis oral sex is quite low are rare, i for sure would consider your irritation as strep. But see a doc if your worried or if you have a long term partner.
