do i have anything to worry about after a very silly (and very drunk) breif mistake?
Last Saturday (25th march) I made a huge mistake and had a brief encounter with a girl I met that day. I am married and feel so ashamed. But I'm also feeling like I'm getting some symptoms. The encounter included her acting oral on me for about a min, then we had unprotected vaginal sex for about 30 secs. After this time I stopped it as I knew it was wrong
Aside from feeling guilty I felt fine for a few days, but last 3 or 4 days I've felt a bit of burning down there, but if I'm honest feels a bit like when I had thrush before (me and wife have both suffered that before). But also get a bit tingly in the groin area. I have checked a few times but can see no lesions or sores or anything yet. The girl was someone who lives reasonably local but I don't know her very well. We were both very drunk and it should not.have happened. I'm not.so worried about hiv, but for me its herpes/hpv I'm frightened of. I usually have unprotected sex with my wife but I haven't since this, I've said I think I may be getting thrush again.
I just don't know if I'm being paranoid. Definately.my penis/balls are a bit irritable.

Sorry all I put the wrong date. It wasn't 25th march it was actually the 18th march(9 days ago).

If its been 9 days and you dont have any white puss discharge or burning while urinating you can pretty much rule out gono. The groin issue is not a symptom of any std. Chlamydia is another popular std but if you dont have any itching inside your urethra by now you can pretty much rule that out also. But bottom line is to test for all stds, at the correct window period for your wifes protection.
Gono and chlamydia---10 days
syphils----6 weeks
HIV 28 days with the DUO test
Herpes---3 months
Gono and chlamydia---10 days

Hi, if you having an irritation inside your penis it would not be a symptom from and infection like gono from an incident 2 days ago. Takes about 4 days for any symptoms to appear so what your experiencing could be an injury from the act itself. But do test for all std,s including hiv for your wifes protection

No pain inside. Just feel a bit uncomfortable. From what I've read it could be thrush or even jock itch (I do a lot of endurance activities). But its the tingly groins that seem weird to me. The act was very short and not at all rough so I wouldn't have thought id got an injury. Thank you for your reply though. Its been 9 days since the night in question. I'm just a bit worried, I will need to wait then get tested
