herpes risk

About three weeks ago I had a nuru massage from a sex worker. She slid her naked body up and down my back and her vagina touched my scrotum (possibly did a little rubbing) for about 30 seconds. I have not had any outbreaks of sores or anything but about a week ago (which was 14 days after exposure) i had a tender lymph node in my neck, a sore throat on one side that hurt to swallow and a low grade fever (100). This cleared up in one day and I haven't experienced these symptoms again. A few days before that even happened though I ended up in the ER for what I thought may be torsion but ended up being an epididymal cyst. Is there a chance that this could have just been epididimydis and was caused by an std like herpes and what are the chances that I contracted herpes from this encounter, if she even had it? I am really worried because i made a stupid mistake and am in a relationship with a girl that I extremely care about and don't want to give her anything...I have been overly stressed from this and think I am imaging symptoms that aren't really there. Is that possible as well?

any help would be much appreciated. thank you.

Hey
I'm HIV positive, herpes usually starts with a sore or multiple sores. Diagnosis of herpes is made only with sores present.
I work for a HIV charity but we include other STDs as well.
Sore throats are associated with STDs but usually after oral sex, if you had a std your symptoms would be longer lasting than one day.
Nuru massage is the gel type lotion and what it sounds like is you had what we say is a p###y massage...
This can transmit herpes if she had sores at the time.
Can I ask what country you are in?
