What we are trying to tell you is doctors do not usually recommend homeopathic remedies.  The majority of the advice given on this forum is clinical. You should try to find a forum that deals with home remedies.  Also, maybe someone from the urology forum can help since a UTI is a urological issue (but not an std).

A UTI is painful why would you want to wait and use a homopathic treatment.  When I had  a UTI i wanted like some heavy antibiotics to get rid of that ****.  I would definitely suggest seeing a regular doctor and getting antibiotics.  You will feel 100X better also drink a lot of fluids, a lot people suggest cranberry juice which is good, but regular old water helps to dilute your urine better.

You do not tell me what he prescribed, so how can i know?
My advice is to see a board certified Dr and get a proper diagnosis.

UTI is not a STD.
We advise testing and treatment from a Dr on all STD's.
