strep throat or gonnohrea

For the past few days I have had a sore throat. It has small red bumps and slightly white patches on the sides. I just went to get tested for stds but I haven't gotten the results yet. I'm wondering if it is strep throat or something worse. I have been having headaches but no fever.

I don't believe in coincidences. I had the brown discharge that I have never before had in mylife no smell no burning or iitching to start but then right before I started my period I had sex with my boyfriend and gave him oral and then got the sore throat and the sever itching and burning and the frequent need to pee. That is way too much to just be coincidence.

I've had bacterial infections before this is not the same and I didn't get fingered.

you won't get a std from someone fingering you.   even if they lick the finger first, not an issue.

go and be seen again and get a full exam. you need tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too.

I know this is probably tmi but I'm a stripper and the place I work at is really bad about letting girls get away with dirty **** in the booths. I am not a dirty girl. So I'm afraid that one of the nasty guys fingered one of the dirty girls didn't wash his hands and then grabbed at my panties trying to pull them to the side and touched me or he could have licked his fingers and then tried to touch me. It is possible. I read online it can be passed through salvia or bodily fluids.

I was on my period so they couldn't do a vaginal exam at the time. I really hope you are right but that doesn't explain why I'm having the burning and itching. You sound like my boyfriend lol. He tells me not to worry so much too. Thank you for all the information. And if worst case scenario it is an std at least it is curable.

Hi, if you had an infection like these your throat would be sore all the time as is an active infection, The urine test was ok for detecting. I personally dont think you have and std, So dont worry so much. All these are very curable. Normlly if you went to a doctor an they suspected std they most likely would have tested and treated you anyway right then with out waiting for the results, if they suspected an std.

And the thing about my sore throat is that it is more sore in the morning and then is almost completely fine throughout the day and then is sore in the morning again. I'm almost positive I have gono. It is curable with antibiotics right?

They didn't do a vaginal exam but they did take a urine sample. I am now starting to get the burning sensation in vagina. I've already talked to him about it.

I am aware of that but I had sex with my boyfriend and gave him oral in the middle of it and then got the sore throat a few days later.

But if you had a brown vaginal discharge it would not have anything to do with  your throat. It doesnt travel inside your body.

They did not do a throat swab. I went to get tested before my throat started to hurt. I went toget tested because I had a slightly brown discharge. I looked it up online and it said there are a bunch of things it could be but gonorrhea stood out the most to me and then the sore throat started. The pictures online for strep throat and gono both look like the little bumps on my throat.
