unpro- oral and long term sore throat

My last episode till now was in June, 2007. I engaged in cunlingus with a young woman. I remember vividly swallowing some of her fluids. I also sucked her anus (inserted my tongue into the hole as deep as I could). About 3 weeks later, I developed a sore throat which is still with me to this day.The pain has been on and off ever since then.I do a job which requires much speaking. The  Every time I talk a lot, the pain intensifies. Also I can always feel something in my throat. I haven't had any episode since then.
My question: could I have got something from the girl I performed oral on? Is there anyone out here who can give me an answer? Thanks a lot in advance.

Have you had any throat cultures done?  Any testing at all?

I doubt it could be related to this - most std infections in the throat don't give symptoms.

If you have seen regular doctors, and had tests done, its time to see an ear, nose and throat specialist.

Could it be the case I suspect, please? I mean could it be related to the episode? Or just symptoms caused by some other virus? I have had cold sores in my mouth now and then all my life, even before the episode. Could this be related? I have seen doctors whose prescriptions could only give short-term letups. So I need your advice. Thank you again.
