when will the BURNING stop?

Hi, here is my story.. 3 days ago I felt a little burning when I went to urinate. Everytime I went after that, the burning seemed to be getting worse. Yesterday, in a state of panic, I went to consult a doctor who screened my urine to check for an infection. He said my pee didn't show signs of infection, and when I asked him what it could be he answered: "An STD maybe, chlamydia or gonorrhea". This is not impossible as I had new partners this summer. I had unprotected sex with one, and 2 other ladies gave me oral sex without me using a condom. Stupid.

So he prescribed me a cocktail of 5 pills that would cover these 2 possibilities according to him.
Basically, I swallowed 1000 mg of azithromycin and 400 mg of Suprax yesterday.

Right now, I'm litteraly scared to go urinate because everytime I go it seems like i'm pissing razorblades. Not just a little discomfort, it HURTS like hell. This morning I noticed a little discharge from my urethra. The tip of my penis is red and sensible. The doc didn't seem to be sure how long it would take for the symptoms to go away, and after reading on this forum I'm more worried than before. I keep falling on threads of people who still have clap/gon symptoms weeks or months after taking their medication. So when should I start to be an amelioration? When should it stop getting worse? When should I be cleared of that infection and stop experiacing this excruciating pain everytime I urinate? When should I consult again if the burning doesn't stop?

I have one more concern.. Yesterday I drank a fair amount of beer. Maybe.. 8.
I didn't think about it because neither the doc or the pharmacist told me anything about it but.. Could the beer interfeer with the medecine I took?

Oh and.. should I be concerned by risks of infertility or loosing my capacity to have erections?

yo calm down, your ok bro your not gona die from either ok. and there curable. U probably got it from the unprotected sex, but if u havent tested for ghonorrea u should so u know if u really have either. The cause could be Urethritis which is very common in getting it from a blowjob. if it isnt this it doesnt matter go test for either, all 3 are just as curable.  st0p drinking beer itll dehydrate u and u will get the burning sensation because your peeing alcohol. duhhhhhhh well go and make sure man im sure you ok. take it easy and good luck. I was given a dose of Zithromax on a Friday, and I drank heavily on Saturday night. My discharge went away after a few days, and the burning still was felt for the following week. The next Friday came along, and I still felt some burning, then Saturday I drank 4 beer. It is now Sunday, and I feel no burning at all. I hope that helps with the time frame of healing.

Thank you for your help... After 48 hours of swallowing my pill cocktail, nothing seems to be getting better. I don't know how much longer I can wait before I go nuts.

I don't know how bad it can get...

But let me share what I do know.

Some studies have shown Zithromax kill off chlamydia within 24 hours. That is crazy fast!  So theoritically one would expect the pain to reduce fairly fast.

Now, gonorhea has reached super bug status, and it is estimated that 25% of all gonorhea cases contracted in the US are risitive to Zithromax. The drug of choice to kill off gonorhea is now a shot of Rocephin.

In genearal you do not want to dring beer with most of your medications!  Beer will alter your liver function, which is going to alter the amount of drugs absorbed into the body.
