Did you get my last post?
If you have a swab taken, it might help to identify the cause of the problem. However you could try an antibiotic cream like Bactroban or Fucidin, which are prescription-only in the UK. Having said all this, it might not be an infection at all as it could be a dermatological problem.
Looking at photos on the internet is not usually very helpful. The right thing to do for you is to see a specialist in the filed whoc can examine you and give you further advice.
Best,
Dr José
Thank you for your feedback.
I have seen my primary physician since but he didn't really know what the cause was and has referred me on to a GU Doctor. He thought it is a fungus but I think he was just guessing. Unfortunately I will not be able to make that appointment so will go to a local GU clinic in the coming week. So far I have used Econazole Mylan (Flacon) for a week with no obvious effect. I was just given Diprosone 0.05% (Dipropionate de batamethasone microsise) a cream which seems to have made the problem worse. I seem to have more tiny 0.5mm high blood blisters on the corona of my penis and the same but below the skin evenly spaced over my Glands penis where nerves or blood vessels join each other. There is now a dull ache at the opening of my urethra but little or no redness.
I do suffer from Eczema and have since childhood. The effected areas are on my legs and torso around my underwear line. Possibly I am also suffering from Scabies as I've had this problem before and the symptoms on my legs and torso are very similar. Itching at night and around the places where my clothes bands touch my body. I did put some of the Diprosone around this area and it seems much better.
It is important to point out that I only noticed the problem with my glands penis beginning 2 days after the second encounter could it be caused by something carried in the throat and if so what? Possibly a parasite or something.
1) What brand of anti-biotic ointment. Would you suggest using and is this prescription only or can you buy it over the counter.
2) What is causing the small red blisters on the corona? Like tiny blood blisters. Have you seen this before and will they go away when the underlying cause goes?
3) Would pictures help? I do have some pictures, two posted in the private section of my profile. If it would help I can make them public if you cannot see them otherwise.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and apologies for not having replied sooner.
It is difiicult to give you an answer about diagnosis with examining you and if your symptoms perist, my advice to you is to consult with the doctor.
From your description of the symptoms, they seem consistent with balanitis. The cause of balanitis could be fungal, but also bacterial, and sometimes mixed, but it can also be casued by a skin problem. If the antifungal cream helped, that would confirm that the cause is fungal; if not, you might want to try using an anbiotic ointment.
In any case, you might need to get a swab of the area where you have the symptoms to try to elicit the exact cause of your problem.
Best wishes,
Dr José
