ONE MONTH AGO, AFTER I HAD SEX WITH MY WIFE, I WOKE UP THE NEXT MONRING AND SAW FOUR BLISTER ON PENIS, I LOOKED THEM UP AND I SAW IT COULD PROBABLY BE HERPES, LAST FRIDAY I WENT TO SEE MY DOCTOR, I ASKED TO GET TESTED , THEY A BLOOD SAMPLE, TODAY I GOT THE RESULTS , SHE SAID I WAS EXPOSED TO IT, ITS IN MY SYSTEM, CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THE RESULTS > THEY ARE AS FOLLOWED: HSV I / II IgG 41.8 H . DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE HERPES 2 OR ONE?

i HAVE herpes and today they told me i had thyroids how can these 2 things affect my body. Cause since I had herpes i always feel so tired but never get outbreaks\....
Hi , thanks for resplying , I am going to get tests for each one separately but that is how labcorp has the results HSV I / II IgG 48.1 and the doctor said it's positive , don't understand

The blood test results yyou have provided cannot be interpreted in any meaningful sense. You need to have blood tests for both herpes 1 and herpes 2 separately identifying for each the IgG and the IgM. You then need to repeat those tests 4 weeks later and the trend will give the answer usually.
By far the best method for diagnosing and identifying herpoes 1 and 2 infections is to take a PCR swab from the blisters themeslves and submitting these to the lab for analysis. This will give you a much more accurate answer.
Combining the two as I suggest will give you as near certainty as possible.
