Unknown viral infection

Dear Doctor,

I had protected vaginal sex with a CSW last july. She told me she performed Unprotected oral sex for a client just before me. During the intercourse, i kissed the girl (peck on the lips, no exchange of saliva). I think CSW is already infected or carried something from her previous client.

Symptoms:
=========
3 days from exposure i started feeling tingling on my lower lip. After a week, developed an ulcer along with 4 needlehead red dots inside mouth (behind chin). Ulcer wasn't painful and healed within 5 days. 35 days from exposure i developed ulcer/pimple in my anorectal region, discharged and healed in 3 days without any medication. After 50 days from exposure, again 3 red dots appeared in the same place and healed within 2 days.

2. After 60 days, severe stabbing pain on my right eye,nose pain, lower jaw pain and severe headache lasted for 1 week. Following this,2 white spots on my tonsil and white patches on the back of throat for 9 MONTHS NOW, there's no discomfort/pain .

Impact on family:
=============
1 month after exposure, accidentally i burst laughing on his face. One day i was checking the lesion in my mouth and turned on the light, immediately my child turned it off and placed fingers in mouth. I think he must have picked up something from me. Within a week, he was hospitaised for a week for spiking fever over 104 degrees, chills, Lip redness (inflammation) for 1 week.

My wife started having nipple discharge and 1 episode of unusual skin redness, pinhead red dots and paper cuts on her chest region. no pain or irritation, healed in a weeks time.

Tests taken:
=========
9 months after exposure, I have tested for HIV 1&2, HSV 1 &2(IgG), Hep B and Syphillis. Result is NEGATIVE for all.

QUESTIONS:
===============
1. What type of infection i have?
2. I want to take tests for ALL the other STIs, please advise me the test names?

Please help me to understand about this infection. cant handle this mental trauma.

thanks

Hello,
Apologies for not having replied sooner, but we both have been extremely busy at the clinic this week.
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum.
We can certainly rule out all the infections you have been tested for: HIV, Hepatitis B, Syphilis and Herpes.  After all your sexual encounter was protected and that would not ahve put yourself of contracting any STI.  Kissing is considered safe and it is unlikely that you would have contracted any STDs that way.  Herpes can be transmitted through kissing, but you have tested negative.  If the lady had thrpat Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea, it is theoretically possible that you might have contracted this through deep throat kissing, even though unlikely.  You might want to get a PCR swab of your throat to exclude this.
None of your symptoms correlate with any STDs and I do not believe that you could transmit anything to your child.  I cannot comment on the actual cause of your symptoms, and it might be a good idea for you to consuklt your doctor, get examined and possibly get a general blood test.
I think that a lot of your symptoms are related to anxiety and stress.
Best wishes,
Dr José

***** After 45 days from exposure, i have observed 3-4 skin erosions and 2 open blisters on the penis shaft and at the base of the penis head which was healed in 2 days without medication.. during the same period my dad has committed suicide (this is totally irrelevant, i know.. but telling you this because my whole family was going thru a rough patch in our life..)

the symptoms that i have experienced.. my kid's fever, chills & lip inflammation,  my wife's skin rash/redness on her chest.. its killing me.. too difficult to handle..

awaiting your reply, doctor..

Dear Doctor,

The real concern is at the time of exposure i had a DAMAGED SKIN / LIP.. so i am thinking that the damaged skin paved way for the virus / bacteria to get in to my system..

Awaiting your reply and keeping my fingers crossed to get the right diagnosis..

3. I was thinking, this could be a new virus which takes few years to develop severe complications to myself and my wife.. Is there any virus exist to make complications like that after some years from exposure?

4. When my child was ill, he also complained about the pain around mouth for few days, i have also seen his lips tingling and inflammed for a week. But my hsv 1 and 2 IgG result was Negative at 9 months?

5. What are the STIs transmitted to kids by coughing or through respiratory droplets and thru touching with infected hands to object to children who touch immediately?

Please advise me on this.

Thank you
