Is this a Confirmed case of warts from hand to genital?

Hi guys, so I know once in a while there is this concern about possible transmission from hand to genital. So here it is. I have a confirmed case of a small tiny dark spot on my penis after my first ever sexual encounter (handjob from a parlor) early this year. I went to a dermatologist and he said that it could be keratosis. He denied the whole HPV thing because obviously, he did not want to freak me out. Guess what, genital keratosis are mostly caused by HPV (all medical research confirms this).
Last few months were terrible for me due to anxiety and everyone tried to calm me down saying the chances are 'very low' or 'hands don't cause HPV'. Well, guess what I GOT IT, sadly.
By now, I do feel backstabbed. I don't know whether it will develop into a cancer or not. But my hopes are low because what happened is considered non-existent.

So I'm sorry you're going through this, but a couple of things -

Your keratosis diagnosis isn't confirmed by biopsy, correct?

Keratosis has some subtypes.

Sebhorrheic keratosis is caused by an excess production of keratin, not the human papilloma virus (HPV). They are not contagious.

https://www.aocd.org/page/SeborrheicKeratoses

You may be confused because sometimes, SK is known as a Seborrhoeic wart or Basal Cell Papilloma. This does not mean it's a wart caused by HPV, and papillomas are benign tumors caused by viruses. It isn't only HPV.

Actinic Keratosis are also known as sun spots, and appear most often where you've been exposed to the sun - face, hands, neck, etc.

So no, you don't have something caused by HPV, and you didn't get genital warts transmitted by a handjob. Your doctor denied the "whole HPV thing" because he knows it's not caused by HPV, not to spare your feelings.

I hope this helps.

But all medical literature and research points towards that genital SK are caused by HPV.
Not lying at all. I went to a dermatologist and he said that it could be Sebhorrheic keratosis.

I'm not saying you don't have SK, but your doctor said it "could be" SK, not that you definitely do.

Your first link is from 1991, and in the actual title, it says, "may contain" - not definitely does, and not "caused by".

In your second link, it says, "Twenty-eight of the 40 genital SK specimens (70%) were positive for HPV. " That means 12 didn't. Further, in the conclusion, "HPV cannot be found in a minority of genital SKs using highly sensitive techniques, and therefore, other presently unknown factors may also be implied in the pathogenesis of these lesions."

Your third link is a letter to the editor, which says that the link between SK and HPV is a myth, so it's not supporting your claim. It cites studies that shows no link at all.

I have no idea why you feel a need to associate this with your handjob, but there is none.

If you can't let this go, I sincerely hope you talk to a counselor. I say that with compassion. Your handjob didn't cause you any physical harm, but it seems it did emotionally.

I really like to thank you for helping me out. He initially said its a 'non-specific spot', what does that mean? I wanted to ask him but then the conversation went some other way and I forgot about it. He ruled out a wart but said that it gives an appearance of a cyst but then rejected it and then said it can be keratosis, not HPV.
I have attached the link of the spot/ NSFW: https://imgur.com/gCP8UgF & https://imgur.com/wH787Zj
This forum is only for STDs.  Since your doctor has confirmed that it is not HPV, and it's not an STD, our members cannot diagnose the reason for the dot on your penis.  No one on the internet can diagnose a skin condition from a photo alone.  If you continue to have concerns, keep working with your doctor to diagnose the cause.

Its very unfortunate that this forum outrightly disagrees with it. But if it happened to me, it means it happens. I would advise the community leaders to tell the people that handjob carries low risk of transmission of HPV and pls don't say 'hands don't cause HPV'.

Please note, that there was no genital to genital contact. The so-called "massage therapist" was a full clothed. I really hate the fact that they don't talk about most STDs  other than HIV
He ruled out a wart but said that it gives an appearance of a cyst but then rejected it and then said it can be keratosis, not HPV. I initially found that quite comforting but later found out via research that almost all genital SKs are caused by HPV.
