Massage Parlor genital contact and irritation

6 days ago I visited an erotic massage parlor. In the massage the female provider rubbed/grinded the exterior of her bare vagina along my shaft. This lasted 1-2 minutes. Definitely no penetration though I believe her vaginal fluids naturally came into contact with the skin on my shaft.

I am in a monogamous relationship and immediately spiraled. I have never done something like this.

When she left the room minutes later, I grabbed some disinfecting alcohol spray and sprayed the contacted area and rubbed it in.

In the car not long after I wiped my penis with a Clorox bleach wipe, including lightly on the tip of my penis and then wiped all away with a wet cloth.

Ever since then the tip of my penis has felt a little irritated. No pain when I pee but it just feels generally irritated and really just near the tip. I assume this is from the strong chemicals I was using which I realize was stupid. I imagine I wouldn’t feel irritation right away from an STI? That would come after an incubation period? No other discernible symptoms of any kind.

I would like to understand my general risks of STI infection and also would like to understand what I should do in regard to the irritation at the head of my penis.

Hi, what you describe would be a risk for syphilis and herpes. And since your in a relationship it would be advised to test for both at the appropriate testing time for their protection. Its somewhat considered low risk but none the less its a risk.
The head of your penis is obviously irritated from the chemicals as that area is extremly sensitive with a lot of nerves. Maybe ask a pharmisist what they would recommend.

Thank you very helpful. A few days later and the tip of my penis still a little irritated. Very mild but enough to be noticeable. No discharge but the opening of the urethra sort of lightly sticky or glued together.

I’m waiting a little longer to test to be in the window. In the meantime, how long does urethritis or this kind of irritation last from HSV or Syphillis? Or from NGU? It started basically right after this encounter and has been irritated for almost 8 days. I would have thought irritation would go away on its own in a couple day.

And why am I not at risk of chlamydia or gonorrhea?

Also can you just provide some stats on risk of infection? Because this was a sex worker I would have to assume she is positive for these diseases.
Syphilis doesn't cause urethritis. It would cause a round, painless sore, usually around 3 weeks. It can appear anywhere from 10-90 days.

Urethritis caused by herpes is very painful. I'd highly doubt that's what you have happening here.

You aren't at risk for gonorrhea or chlamydia because those require penetration to get and you didn't have those. Herpes and syphilis only need direct genital skin-to-skin contact to transmit, which you had.

You used a lot of stuff on your penis that could cause irritation, and it could take some time for all of it to heal.

Make sure you are hydrated. Drink plenty of water, ease off the alcohol and caffeine, if you drink either of those. Some of what you are feeling may be mild dehydration and/or anxiety.
