Massage extra gone wrong

Dear All,

I have been very silly and after having a thai massage. Despite for the last 24 month's just enjoying a massage and sometimes a happy ending. When asked by my favourite massuer about extras I went for the protected doggy style intercourse. The lady is not a hardened sex worker but I have no doubt what she does for me she would be doing for others.

Either way on this occasion she was very tight and as it was I side her and I started to speed up I felt the condom break at the tip. I took my penis out and saw the big break and proceeded to take it off and I was given a hand job to conclude matters.

I am worried about all the STIs as I have a partner and the last thing I want to do is create issues for an innocent party.

Please can someone advise my risk factors for each STI and When it might be a good idea to be tested. My gut says yes but I assume I will need to abstain from sex with my partner for a long time.

Thank you so much for your assistance

Best wishes
Matt

So you felt the condom break, and immediately pulled out? If that's true, there is some risk, but it's pretty low.

You can test for gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU at about 5 days.

You can test for HIV with a DUO test at 28 days. You can test for syphilis at 6 weeks, and herpes at 12 weeks.

Your chances for all of them are quite low. Syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries (the US, UK, Europe, Canada, etc.), and most people don't have HIV. Your exposure sounds very brief, which helps.

Herpes symptoms usually appear within 2-12 days. You can get a type specific IgG blood test at 12 weeks, but some places, like the UK and Canada, don't offer these as easily as the US does. Since your exposure was so brief, if you have a hard time getting a test, if you don't have symptoms, I wouldn't worry.

Thank you for your quick response to my post. Yes I was fully inside and as I pushed deeper I felt the elastic break and withdrew. The top of my penis head would have been exposed for I would say about 5 seconds which is a short time but I guess a long time to be in contact with the virginal wall. I went home and washed but this will not be the determining factor.
Actually, it's not that long when you compare it to being unprotected for an entire act of intercourse, however long that takes, right?

I understand the fear, especially given that you have a regular partner, but remember that your chances really are quite low.
Auntie Jessi  you provide a great service a  thank you. One last question what would be the risk of hep B with this exposure?
Low - same as the others. You may be vaccinated for it already, depending on where you live and how old you are. You can ask your doctor for a test to see if you've been vaccinated if you don't have your records. If you haven't been vaccinated, talk to your doctor to see if you're a good candidate for it.

Thank you
