Hi, if you think you have syphlis the only way to confirm is through testing but all that you write is more in line with anxiety from the affair a year ago.
I would note that some lip chancres may be painful but it has nothing to do with your case.
If it is syphilis (highly unlikely), it is from another exposure.
While it is documented that s
primary sores may appear as late as 90 days after exposure, it almost never happens in reality.
99% of primary sores appear within 42 days after exposure, most - within 4 weeks.
That "90 days" mark is very conservative. It mostly serves to remind "to keep a high degree of suspicion" for medical professionals, but it sure feeds lots of anxiety, especially in guilt-ridden people.
I would completely agree with other community members; why not get tested? Any test would be 100% accurate with your time after exposure.
How long did the sore on your lip last?
A syphilis sore appears within 90 days of infection, so unless you had another possible exposure, it's not syphilis. It's also painless.
Lots of things cause rashes that are not syphilis. A syphilis rash isn't just on the hand.
If you are concerned about syphilis, though, a simple blood test will tell you if you have it, and then you can put your mind at ease.
i forgot to mention that I had protected sex but unprotected cunnilingus for 30 seconds.
