STD or Yeast infection?

So, recently I developed what I believe to be a yeast infection. I did not realize thats what it was when I was intimate with a guy recently. He performed oral sex and we had intercourse. During intercourse I started bleeding. He than told me he thinks he is starting to get a sore throat (3-4 days after the event). I have been treating this problem as a yeast infection for the last couple days and it seems? to be getting better. I went to get an STD test the day after him and I had sex but results can take up to 2 weeks (still waiting). I'm very nervous that I contracted an STD after having unprotected sex previously. The fact that I was bleeding during sex is what makes me think this is a yeast infection vs an STD but all these symptoms can indicative of both. I'm really nervous and have no idea how to break it to this guy since I just barely started seeing him.

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on this? Also, how I would break this news to this guy (without, hopefully, scaring him off)?

Thank you. I was just reading that it is highly unlikely to transmit chlamydia orally and I don't think my symptoms relate with ghonnorhea. All I am doing is praying it is only a yeast infection. I had never had one before so I didn't realize the effects of it and such.

Yeah. For him to get an oral STD would be on the very rare side. I doubt this is an STD issue for him.

But the results could take up to 2 weeks. I don't wanna tell him I could possibly have an STD and than it comes up negative but I don't wanna wait 2 weeks either while he has a sore throat in the mean time. Only thing is I suppose I could tell him I believe I had a yeast infection when we had sex and he may want to go to the doctor?

Well all you can really do is wait for the results. You just have to be honest with him. If he thinks bad of you for having a STD (if you do have one) then he is not much of a guy.
