Staff infection? Std

make long story short I recently got a single red bump head of penis think it happened over night by the uretha opening first it started out small then it got bigger it was a red bump it didn't hurt to urinate it didn't hurt I felt irritated when I would rub on my pants On the third day I had it there was a small whitish thing sticking out not like a white head the next day there was a really small black spot as I looked close it was a very small scab for a big red bump I've looked up pictures of many herpes didn't look like it or started out like it I showed it to a doctor thinking its herpes I showed him he said herpes doesn't cause a red bump like showed another doctor when I got smaller and still had that small scab and to him it doesn't look like an std. I told one doctor  I had a herpes test 1/2 for igg and Igm 2 months before I had this bump and came back negative I only had 2 partners 1 has only been with me and the other has been with her husband and has been with him for 6 years and he's only been with 1 person she had baby a month 1/2 when I was with her and she has told me she has been tested for many thing about 2 months later got back with my girlfriend started itching after shaving that area for 3 months Doctor gave me fungal cream helped a lot took itch from thighs  I itched non stop between  stomach legs arms had tiny red bumps were I had hair when I got this red bump it's been 5 months since I was with the girl that has a kid can't keep a piece of mind thinking that I have herpes one doctor thinks I have a staff infection and the other an infection I think I might have scabies or chiggers since I can stop itching if someone has an Idea what I have I would appreciate it

your dr may be thinking staph folliculitis .if you havent tested for stds i would tend to agree with shaun .you might want to test for stds .you might want to have the rash biopsied so you can treat it .good luck.

You need to get tested for a variety of STDs.  It could be anything.

At minimum get a Syphilis test and to be safe you should get an HIV test -- at least 4 weeks after your last unprotected sexual exposure.  HIV test should be 4th generation (or at least 3rd generation).

The Syphilis test also take time after your last exposure.  But if the bump is a chancer, then it can take the conventional Syphilis test 4 - 6 weeks after this appears to show that you have it.   Discuss what test you need with your MD. If it's been less time, you can ask for a PCR Syphilis test.

Be well.
