What are these bumps?

I recently have been noticing that when I have unprotected sex with my girlfriend, the day afterwards I have dry skin on the shaft of my penis.  I put lotion on it and it seems to go away in a couple of days.  Also when I masturbate I get dry skin on my penis.  I think that it is because my hanes may be dirty and/or because I dont use lotion.  Last week I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and the skin on my penis seemed extra dry and I picked the dry skin in one area.  I broke the skin but now I have 8 red bumps on the shaft of my penis and I am just wondering if you have any advice to what this is.  These bumps are fairly small but they hurt when I walk because my penis rubs against my leg and when i touch my penis to urine.  I am thinking that i picked the dry skin and it just needs time to heal but I honestly do not know.  I am really scared! Please Help ASAP!!!!

He can make it go away by going to see a doctor and finding out what's causing it.

The dry flaky skin makes me think fungal infection, but the cut might be herpes, and you need to find out for sure.

My boyfriend has been complaining about the dry skin on his penis. He says it hurts when we have intercourse, i look at it and it just looks veiny and red like.. well.. an erection should. But just yesterday, he found a cut on the bottom side of his penis, it really hurts him when he touches it and the skin on his penis is getting really dry and flaky. How can he make it go away??

No, I don't think its herpes, but you should still see your doctor.

It might be a reaction to the lotion or something else you are using.  How do you clean up?  (That's a question you can answer to yourself lol.)  Maybe you are allergic to something you are using to clean up - soap, detergent, etc.

But you need to see your doctor.

You should get this checked.  You might have caused a secondary bacterial infection from picking at it.

If this is ONLY happening when you have sex or masturbate, why not get some good lube, like KY, astroglide, sliquid, wet, etc., and see if that helps.
