What is the probability of non sexual transmission of STI ?

Can a 60+ male of extremely poor personal hygiene transmit STI to a toddler in the same house in a normal family setting. He will not be the primary care giver, save for occasional cuddling, sharing the same utensils, and bath. But the kid would probably crawl everywhere and lick everything in reach. I've plans to invite both over to my place for a few months and I'm terrified of unnecessarily exposing the baby to infections. Any help would be appreciated

Also, if you believe that you have an undiagnosed STI, you should get to a clinic to be tested.

STI stands for sexually transmitted infection.  No sexual activity = no transmission.

The only concern would be Hepatitis B, as that transmits via microscopic particles of blood.  If the child is vaccinated against Hep B, or the caregiver does not have Hep B, there is no concern.
