small red rash on testicle went away in 1 week

i had a small red rash on the left side of my testicle and the skin seemed dry and tender.  i went to the doctor and they said it was genital warts, but did not seem too sure. also did not give me any medication.  it went away in 1 week. i had sex about 10 days before.  i went to another doctor a week later and the rash was gone and i told him my symptoms and he checked it out and saw nothing.  he said from the symptoms it could be herpes or just a rash but did no think it was warts.  i do currently have excema.  the rash did itch a little bit.  what do you think it is?

i have a recurrent dry skin 2 weeks after it went away.  it looks like dry skin, not nearly as dry but on the same spot on my scrotum.  it does not itch or feel like anything.

I agree - but not HPV - it wouldn't clear up that fast.

You might want to test for herpes with a type specific IgG test.  If its negative now, test again in a few months.

If it recurs, see your doctor within 24-48 hours of its appearance.

Possibly Herpes, HPV, eczema, or simply dry skin.
