Quick question regarding an Oral Sex incident.
I am a Gay Male, who takes my sexual health very seriously.
Over the weekend, I had unprotected oral sex, where I performed oral sex on a Bi-Curious Male.
He did ejaculate in the back of my throat and I swallowed it.
I feel very comfortable with Oral Sex being considered a very very very safe practice with regard to HIV risk. The data on that is beyond copious.
With that said, I have had other sexual partners in the past month, prior to this weekend.
Yesterday .. I noticed my urine was slightly cloudy - and went to urgent care today, where I was told there was a low amount of WBC in my urine - and I was tested for Ghon/Chlam /UTI.
I am aware GH/CH infections can result in cloudy urine, so clearly I am concerned.
I am waiting on the results from my Urgent Care visit ... However, here is my primary question ..
'IF, I do in fact have an active GH/CH infection (to my knowledge in the urethra and not the throat) would it increase my risk of acquiring HIV from the Oral Sex / Ejaculation / Swallowing encounter that I had over this past weekend - if that partner was positive.
The doctor at the urgent care said, in their opinion, it would not. This person was also a sexual health expert.
.. but I am curious for additional opinions.
Thank You.
